Chatham House Rule

When a meeting is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.

At the Biosecurity Summit, this means you may share insights and ideas from sessions and conversations, but you must not attribute them to any individual or organization without explicit permission. Please also refrain from sharing information about the event publicly — including on social media — without prior permission from the organizers.

Respect and inclusion

We are committed to providing a welcoming and respectful environment for all attendees, regardless of background, identity, or affiliation. Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated.

This applies to all Summit spaces — sessions, meals, social events, and informal conversations — as well as any online communication related to the event.

Health precautions

If you feel unwell before or during the Summit, please take reasonable precautions to protect other attendees. This might include wearing a mask, taking 1:1 meetings outdoors, or, if you are not yet at the venue, staying home.

If you fall ill during the event, please reach out to the organizers at contact@biosecurity-summit.com and we will work out the best path forward together.

Antitrust guidelines

In accordance with US antitrust laws, attendees should avoid sharing competitively sensitive business information or engaging in discussions that could be construed as agreements to fix prices, allocate markets, or restrict competition.

If something negatively affects your experience, or if you have questions about these guidelines, please reach out to us at [contact@biosecurity-summit.com](mailto:contact@biosecurity-summit.com).
